Coolant cleaning systems

Coolant cleaning systems ensure thorough separation of particles from liquids.

The wear on machine tools and their maintenance costs are reduced, the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the workpieces are significantly improved and the service life of the cutting coolant is multiplied.

Gravity belt filter

Gravity belt filter for the automatic cleaning of low-viscosity liquids such as coolant emulsion, cutting oil, washing liquid, etc.

Flow rates up to 500 l/min in increments of 50-100 l/min, nominal filter fineness 10-30 µ depending on the filter fleece quality used and the structure of the filter cake.

A magnetic separator can be installed upstream for high dirt loads.

Round bed filter

Round-bed filter in compact design for cleaning low-viscosity liquids such as coolant emulsion, cutting oil, washing liquid, etc.

Flow rates up to 1100 l/min, nominal filter fineness 10-50 µ depending on the filter fleece quality used and the structure of the filter cake.

Round-bed filter with endless mesh belt for cleaning coolant emulsion, cutting and grinding oil, washing liquid, etc.

Flow rate up to 1100 l/min, filter fineness nom. 50µ with standard fabric.

Backwash filter

Backwash filters from the RFH series are automatic fine filters for cleaning media with a specific dirt load < 1 g/l. The filter fabric is regenerated by automatic backwashing without any external medium. A nominal filter fineness of approx. 30 µ is achieved with the standard fabric.

Flow rates up to 400 l/min

The flow rate can be multiplied by connecting several RFH backwash filters in parallel.

Magnetic separator conveyor

The patented separation principle of the BÄR + Co. magnetic separator conveyor enables efficient separation of ferromagnetic particles from liquids and prevents tank sludge.

Flow rates up to 5000 l/min

Flow rates up to 1560 l/min.

Hydrocyclone systems

Hydrocyclone systems for the separation of specifically heavy particles (> 2 g/cm3) from low-viscosity liquids such as coolant emulsion etc.

Flow rate per cyclone 20 – 600 l/min, separation particle size approx. 6µ – 20µ.

The flow rate can be multiplied by connecting several cyclones in parallel. The particle size specification refers to the spherical shape and a specific weight > 2 g/cm3 of the particles.

Oil extractors

Oil extraction devices increase the service life of the coolant emulsion, improve the cleaning effect of parts washing systems and optimize the efficiency of emulsion splitting systems by extracting floating tramp oils.

Oil belt skimmer

Oil belt skimmers are used to remove floating tramp oils and thus extend the service life of the coolant emulsion.
